We cover your booking, cleaning & linen fees.
This could add hundreds of dollars to your stay elsewhere. Staying at ‘Life’ includes booking/credit card fees, one exit clean, linen, towels and basic toiletries. There are no hidden extras when you come to pay.

We transport you on arrival and departure.
‘Life’ will arrange for your luggage and guests to be transported from/to the island jetty to/from the property on arrival and departure at no cost (corresponding to the resorts passenger ferry timetable and your check-in, check-out times)

We provide an electric resort buggy.
Complimentary and provided with the accommodation to get around the resort is a 4 seat resort buggy . It is however subject to strict driving rules, a valid driving licence and the signing of a waiver by a sole designated driver. Optional insurance to cover damage protection can be purchased.

You will get complimentary Starlink highspeed Internet.
No frustrating internet connectivity here, 100mbps average download speeds from the sky, stream your favourite shows on the Smart TV or connect your phone or device to the ‘Life’ Network.

You will be added to the guestlist at the resort.
Meaning you have full access to the facilities including: convenience store, swimming pools, spa treatments, restaurants, coffee shop, bar, nighty entertainment, dolphin and eco programs as well as all the resorts tours and adventures should you wish to book at the tours desk. * Staying at Tangalooma Life does not include any paid activities, food, beverages or services the resort may offer.


FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How do we get to Tangalooma Island Resort?

• RESORT PASSENGER FERRY: We can book you on the resorts passenger ferry which departs at various times of the day. We recommend the 12:30pm transfer from Brisbane (Holt Street) on the day of your arrival and the 9:30am from the Tangalooma Jetty on the day of your departure to streamline the check-in/out process. These times can be changed to suit your itinerary, subject to availability. You are allowed one 25 kg of luggage allowance each. Purchasing ferry transfers are strongly advised at the same time as booking the accommodation through our online booking page.

 

• MICAT VEHICLE FERRY: You can bring your own car on the MiCat Ferry which lands near the Tangalooma Wrecks on the beach and is a 20 minute drive along the Tangalooma Bypass into the resorts private residences. We are unable to book or offer times for this service but you can book direct at micat.com.au. The MiCat can get heavily booked and does not run on some days so please check availability before booking your stay.

Can we have a party or event at Tangalooma Life?
Tangalooma Life has a maximum occupancy of six guests. This includes visitors who are not staying overnight. This is to stop any events or parties taking place at the property larger than its maximum occupancy of six guests. The resort has 24hr security patrols and has a very strict 'no party' policy with noise and conduct conditions.

• A maximum of 6 guests are allowed on the premises.
• Keep noise to a minimum after 10pm and before 7am
• All vehicles must be parked on site and not on the road.
• Keep the premises and grounds clean and tidy.
• Any breakages must be reported, charges may apply
• Tangalooma Life is a non-smoking residence
• No Pets Allowed

What is your cancellation policy?
We understand things can change and so we are reasonably flexible when cancelling or changing dates. We take 50% of the total accommodation amount at the time of booking to secure it with the remaining balance due to be paid 28 days before arrival. If you cancel your booking before 28 days of arrival you will be refunded the full 50% accommodation deposit you have paid. Changing your dates are free but subject to availability and price changes (if any).

What if i can only stay 2 nights, 4 nights or 6 nights?
Our best pricing is based on a 3 night minimum stay with special offers on 5 nights and 7 nights. If you can't take advantage of the free nights (Pay 4, Stay 5 or Pay 5, Stay 7) or your cant stay the minimum 3 nights you have the option of getting the late passenger ferry home which leaves between 7pm and 8pm depending on the time of year. This will allow you the full day/evening use of the property. We can arrange your preferred check-out and passenger ferry times to gain maximum use of Tangalooma Life for your stay option.

• Transferring use to other guests on empty nights is prohibited. The resort will revoke guest list access from your ferry departure time.
• We are unable to change any MiCat vehicle ferry times, you must contact them directly
