Located in the highly desirable Old Seagrove neighborhood. The neighborhood’s many oak trees and controlled growth has preserved many aspects of South Walton’s charm and history. The beautiful beaches of South Walton along Scenic Hwy 30A are only 2 ½ blocks (5 minute stroll) to Dogwood-Thyme Public Beach Access and 5 short blocks (5 minute walk) to Seaside’s legendary vibe, shopping, boutiques, food trucks, and restaurants.

Halcyon Hideaway
New Pool and outdoor space added Spring 2023. Winter 2024 Renovation will offer 8 bedrooms, 7 bathrooms, and maximum occupancy of 24. Details below:

  • 1st Floor
    • New 2nd Primary bedroom (BR # 5) and bath (BA #4). King bed.
    • New 3/4 guest bath (BA # 5).
    • New Living Area space.
    • Current living area will be dining room off kitchen.
    • New screened in front porch.
  • NEW 2nd Floor
    • New King bedroom (BR #6) with ensuite bath (BA #6).
    • New King bedroom (BR #7).
    • New Bunk room (BR #8).
    • New bath (BA # 7) shared with king and bunk bedrooms.
    • New loft/game area.
After Renovation: Maximum Occupancy of 24 with 4 King bedrooms, 2 Queen bedrooms, 1 Double Queen bedroom, 1 Double Bunk room, Queen sleeper downstairs, possible sleeper upstairs loft. Private saltwater pool and spa, fire-pit and natural gas BBQ make this an amazing Seagrove Beach experience.

You’ll enter from the screened in porch to open living area with comfy sectional sofa and 55 inch Roku Flat screen TV. Living area flows to the open kitchen and dining area with raised ceilings. The kitchen is well-appointed with stainless appliances, granite counter tops, and farmhouse sink. A large prep area and/or eat-in island separates the kitchen and dining area.  The kitchen island offers a drop down to desk level for those that want to do a little 'work'.

Home may have 7 night minimum peak Spring Break and Summer. Contact host with questions. 25 year age minimum. 


PRIMARY BEDROOM & BATH
The spacious primary bedroom offers a king size bed. The large primary bath has double vanities and step-in shower with bench, and separate wall and hand held shower heads.


BEDROOM 2 AND BEDROOM 3
The two additional bedrooms are queen beds. The bath for bedroom 2 has a tub shower combination. A step-in shower is in place for the bath of bedroom 3. All baths have been updated.

BEDROOM 4

A bedroom down the back hallway has two queen beds with view of the pool and deck area. A 3/4 bath will be added for this bedroom.

New 1st floor 2nd primary king bedroom and bath.

BEDROOM 6
New 2nd floor king bedroom with ensuite bath.

BEDROOM 7
New 2nd floor king bedroom. Shares bath with bunk room.

BEDROOM 8
New 2nd floor bunk room.

LOFT-GAME AREA
New 2nd floor loft at stair landing area.

ENTERTAINMENT & TECHNOLOGY
Each bedroom has its own TV with cable or YouTube TV streaming. Wi-Fi (both 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks) is offered throughout the home with extenders. The large eat-in kitchen island has a desk-level laptop/office work area. Laundry area with 2023 full-size stack washer/dryer.

IMPORTANT DETAILS

  • Living room sectional sofa offers a queen memory foam sleeper mattress. House sleeps 24 after Winter 2024 renovation.
  • Kitchen is equipped with a drip coffee maker, refrigerator (with ice maker), stovetop, microwave, cookware, blender, dishes, and utensils.
  • A complimentary welcome gift package is provided, along with a starter set of spa-quality bath toiletries. You'll also have a two-day supply of essential items, including paper towels, toilet paper, coffee, dishwasher soap, and laundry soap.
  • Home has two central air conditioning units and two hot water heaters.
  • 2023 saltwater pool with attached spa/hot tub, Gas BBQ grill, small charcoal grill, deck, fire pit, and backyard gathering space. For safety/security purposes home may have cameras in place at pool area.
  • 3 steps to enter this home from the front or back. 
  • Cleaning protocols follow PMI Purify with disinfecting of all high-touch surfaces. PMI Purify is a 10-step cleaning process developed in conjunction with the Housekeeping Solutions Team and industry experts.

NEIGHBORHOOD
Old Seagrove is a special neighborhood. You are a short 5-minute stroll to the Dogwood-Thyme Public Beach Access. At the same time, you are minutes from Seaside, the south's landmark of New Urbanism, and regularly included on Top & Best beach and beach-town lists. Seaside also served as the primary filming location of "The Truman Show" starring Jim Carey.


Beach set rental is generally available March to September with Vacayzen at the Dogwood-Thyme or Hickory Beach Access.

Important House Rules and Local Regulations
-The Guest Admin/Damage Protection Fee or rental rate includes $1,500 of Accidental Damage Protection. Guest agrees to pay for all damage and missing items not otherwise paid for by Accidental Damage Coverage, security deposit, or other form of payment.
-Your booking source payment and cancellation terms prevail. $150 Cancellation Fee plus non-refundable third-party charges.
-Check-in 4pm, Check-out 10am
-No Pets.
-No Smoking.
-Maximum Occupancy cannot be exceeded.
-Minimum age 25 years old. 1 adult 25+ years old for every 3 minors 13-17. Due to restrictions, insurance, and/or local ordinances, we are unable to rent to (i) guests under the age of 25, or (ii) student/college groups. A full guest list is required at the time of booking and the primary renter must be present at check-in and during the entirety of the reservation. ID's will be checked upon booking and verified onsite at check-in and throughout the stay. We reserve the right to refuse entry as well as evict guests found to be underage or in violation of this or other Rental Agreement provisions. No refunds upon eviction.
-No events or parties allowed. The property has noise monitoring in place.
-Our County or City may regulate short-term vacation rentals and guests must adhere to restrictions that include maximum occupancy, noise, off-site parking, vehicle ID display, trash disposal, and environmental compliance. Violation by guest will result in fines and penalties to the primary guest representative.

-Upon booking deposit or payment, all Guests agree to (i) PMI Destin-30A (Host) Vacation Rental Agreement terms and conditions, (ii) complete Host's pre-check-in, and (iii) digitally sign the Host's rental agreement.

PMI Direct bookings (Only)
-All bookings 30 days or more in advance of Check-in are 100% refundable if canceled within 48 hours of booking. 
-Bookings 30+ days prior to check-in: Advance Deposit will be authorized upon booking and then charged to your card 2 days after booking; the balance due will be charged 30 days prior to check-in.
-Bookings 30 days or less from check-in: 100% will be charged with booking.
